Mrs. Eleanor Miller was stricken with paralysis last Saturday and died Tuesday night. She had been a cripple for several years, but had lately been enjoying reasonably good health. She was suddenly stricken.

She and her husband came here in the early days of this town, Mr. Miller establishing the pottery, which for many years was a profitable business. Mr. Miller died some twelve years ago.

Mrs. Miller’s funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church today and she was laid to rest in the village cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret Potter, of Butler, Missouri, and Mrs. Nancy Martin, of Kansas City, were summoned home to the death-bed of their mother, Mrs. Miller. Leander Miller and family had been here with her for some time, being here from Creston, Iowa, on a visit.
