Know all men by these presents that I Owen Hughes in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars to me in hand paid have granted bargained and sold to Morgan G. Frame the South West quarter of the South West quarter of section thirty six in Township two south and range five west of the fourth principle meridian to have and to hold the said tract of land with the tenements and hereditaments to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said Morgan G. Frame his heirs executors and administrators the title to the said tract of land to the said Morgan G. Frame his heirs and assigns do and will forever warrant and defend against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. Frame Family History
The Frame family came from England to Amesbury, MA, then to PA, then to VA, where Thomas Frame (b. 1773 in Bath, VA) was granted land for his service in the War of 1812 Two Frame brothers, Benjamin and Morgan G., settled in Adams county about 1836.
Thomas M. Frame, a son of Morgan G. Frame, traveled to many states and was in several Indian wars from 1882 to 1887. Thomas married Irene Elizabeth Tankersly. The place of their marriage is unknown. One of their children, Leah Frame, was born on an Indian reservation in Oklahoma.
Thomas M. Frame died in 1932 in Lynn Haven, FL.
